How FastIntake Works
A homeowner finds your number on Google, calls while you're on a job, and gets an instant text back. They send a photo. Thirty seconds later, they have a ballpark. You approve the formal quote whenever you have a second.
Homeowner calls, you miss it
You're on a job site with saws running. The call rings out. FastIntake detects the missed call and fires an auto-text back in about 3 seconds: "Sorry I missed you! Text me a photo of your fence and I'll get you a number in 30 seconds."
Homeowner texts a photo
No app to download. No form to fill out. The homeowner just texts one photo of the damaged fence from their phone. That's the entire intake — zero friction.
AI reads the photo
The vision AI analyzes the photo and returns structured data only — fence type, damage type, estimated linear feet, posts damaged, gate issues, and a confidence score. It never returns a price. A deterministic pricing engine does all the math.
Ballpark sends itself
Within 30 seconds of the photo, the homeowner gets a text-style estimate with an honest range and a clear disclaimer: "based on the photo alone... estimate to help you budget... confirm the exact price after a quick look." The disclaimer doubles as the pivot to the on-site visit.
You approve the formal quote with one tap
A branded PDF quote with line items appears in your dashboard under "Pending." You tap Approve, Edit, or Discard from your phone. Approve emails it to the homeowner and schedules a day-2 follow-up nudge if they don't reply.
What happens when the photo is unclear?
One auto-retry, then human review
If the AI confidence is low, it asks once for a better photo. If it's still unclear, the lead is flagged in your dashboard for manual review. Never loops.
Not a fence or deck?
If the photo isn't fence or deck damage, the lead is flagged with a note: "looks like [detected trade]." You decide whether to take it on.
